About us

Shawcoon is located in a sleepy village in rural Lanarkshire, with views of Tinto Hill and the river Clyde. We share our house with five Maine Coons, a moggie, two Jack Russells, two kids, and a Goldfish. The whole family enjoy showing our cats and so far we have enjoyed plenty of success.

Our kittens are brought up with plenty of love and affection, and go to their new homes registered with the GCCF, fully vaccinated, wormed, litter trained with a four generation pedigree, six weeks free pet plan insurance, a kitten pack, an information sheet and a contract of sale.

Our kittens are bred as indoor cats and should never be allowed out to wander. My own cats have access to a large outdoor run accessed from our living room.

We are a registered breeder with The Maine Coon Cat Club.
